Discover Red Bluff:
Our story, mission, and values
Founded on January 23, 1881, we are a proud cornerstone
of Red Bluff, with over 140
years of faith, fellowship,
and service.
Starting as a modest chapel, our present-day church, completed in 1900, stands as a testament to the perseverance and dedication of our pioneering community.
Today, our mission remains the same: to serve our community with love and to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ passionately. Our faith in the power of prayer and the guidance of the Spirit is unwavering.
Red Bluff is more than just a place to live; it’s a tightly-knit community of neighbors supporting each other.
As a beacon of faith in this community, we pledge to continue building on our rich legacy of service and support.
We are a congregation of imperfect people, dealing with life’s challenges together, always guided by the Lord’s hand. We believe that strength lies in unity and trust, and we extend an open invitation for you to join us.
If you’re searching for a community of authenticity and acceptance, our doors and hearts are wide open. Join us and witness how Jesus transforms lives.

our BELIEFS
01/ GOD
We are a non-denominational church, committed to preaching and teaching the Bible. We do not focus on secondary issues. We keep our focus on Jesus Christ.
02/ AUTHORITY
The Bible is God’s infallible Word. It is the complete revelation of God’s will for the salvation of humankind and is our only rule of faith and practice.
03/ JESUS
Jesus Christ is the Divine Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, virgin-born, fully God and fully human united in one person, who died on the cross as a substitutional sacrifice for the sin of humanity. He arose bodily from the dead and ascended into Heaven where He is now our interceding Priest. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
04/ HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. His ministry is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, convict humanity of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, and to indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for Christian growth, life, ministry, and service. A believer is sealed with the Holy Spirit the moment of salvation.
05/ HUMANITY
Humankind was created in the image of God but fell into sin. Every human is sinful by nature and by practice and needs the Savior to deliver them from the power and penalty of their sin. Salvation is only by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Humans are completely unable to save themselves by self-improvement or good works.
06/ THE BODY OF CHRIST
The Church is comprised of all persons who, through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and have been baptized by the Holy Spirit into the Body of Christ, of which Jesus is the head.
07/ BAPTISM
Water baptism, following a profession of faith in Jesus Christ, is an act of obedience to Christ, entered into by the believer upon personal conviction through the Holy Spirit, and is symbolic of the immersion of the believer into the universal Body of Christ accomplished by the Holy Spirit at conversion.
We baptize by immersion only and receive into membership only born-again, baptized believers.
Communion is a celebration of the Last Supper, is entered into voluntarily by any believer to remember the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus Christ, and is symbolic of the death and subsequent new life granted by grace to believers through the actual death and resurrection of Jesus.
